I have always been deeply touched by the story of God’s faithfulness to the ten Boom family. Here they did what was good and right, and yet they still suffered for it. Experiencing ten Boom was something beyond what I could have imagined. The strength of the story along with the sensitive and beautiful music made our time with the musical very precious. We had prayed that the message of the musical would encourage others, but we had no idea how much bonding would be birthed from working on this together. The response of the public was amazing – 4 free performances, over 2500 in attendance, over $13,000 in free-will donations! The cooperation and blessing of Susan and Donna made our ‘walk with ten Boom’ beautiful. Thank You, Lord, for leading us to present this musical! (Read Article)

I was moved and honored to hear the musical about “Aunt Corrie.” What a great production and how much love I felt in this musical… I am impressed by the amount of work and time you have put into the musical and with great effort. [I] would like to give a copy to the Corrie ten Boom house and permanent exposition in Haarlem, Holland. Thank you so very much!

Ten Boom the Musical was the most moving musical Grace Christian School has ever performed. The purpose and challenge of the ten Boom story spoke to all age levels… from elementary students to WWII vets. People were moved to tears during the songs that offered hope and forgiveness. If you are looking for a musical that will make an impact on lives, “Ten Boom the Musical” is a must!

– Laurie McCaskill, Ten Boom Creative Director for Grace Christian School, Bennington VT

WOW! I didn’t realize the enormity of your work. I’m way impressed with it—and with the production of the full-length recording. The production was really well done, simple but very effective. I love that the songs felt like they fit—culture, etc.—and weren’t trying to be “something else.” The actors were really strong. I think the musical is moving and effective, tells the story in a creative way. Great job! Thanks for sharing!!

Since we had house guests, I decided for a corporate evaluation [of “ten Boom” dramatic audio]. It is great to be coming out for a new generation. Having met Corrie ten Boom, Elisabeth appreciated the story. It’s wonderful to make the experience of suffering and loss to a new generation, and a reminder to the older generation that God works through it all. Good lyrics and script!

– *Lars Gren (husband of Elisabeth Elliot), Massachusetts

It is a tremendous work, and I pray God blesses you and prepares the way for mass distribution. What a beautiful work!

WOW…! We listened to your “ten Boom” promo CDs last night. Spectacular! The music you all have written is exceptional, and so is your Dutch accent! The script is truly remarkable… an entertaining, historically accurate musical about a brave lady who survived torture, through her faith in Christ, because she helped save the lives of many countrymen from certain death at the hands of the Nazi regime. Now I know… but when you first told me of this project, I wondered how in the world you could write a musical about Corrie Ten Boom. Bodacious!! Her survival was truly a “God Thing!”

– *Chuck & Sue Cooper, host/producer, “It’s A God Thing” Radio, Palm Desert, CA

Since I read “The Hiding Place” and some other of Corrie’s writings in the ‘70s, I’m surprised to see something new—also very excited! What a timely reminder of how fragile our personal freedoms can be, and the masks evil can wear. Your time, talent and hard work are evident.

The CDs arrived and I have listened to all the music—Wow!!! —and half the play itself… very professional presentation. You can feel very proud. I’m impressed with your work and pleased and humbled that you would be so kind as to send it to me. You are two talented ladies!!

– *Susie Sandager, Sandager Presentations (Corrie ten Boom, one-woman performance), Albuquerque, NM

BRAVO, BRAVO…thought I was listening to a Broadway production! I am so impressed. The drama, music, all so professionally well done! Fantastic! It is certainly a story that needs to be told, and the music just made the characters come to life. This musical will reach the younger generation and bring them a true story of the Holocaust that they may otherwise never hear. Thank you for keeping this story alive. I wish you much success in getting this musical presented to the world.

Thank you so much for sending the CD’s … I enjoyed them immensely. I was especially touched by “Resurrection”, “Power to Change the World”, and “When Love Comes In.” It was a wonderful experience to enjoy the music and story, especially knowing how much time and energy you put into getting it completed. I was so moved by the final dialogue … it was a perfect ending to the story and brought me to tears.

– *John Flynt, professional actor, Miami FL

This musical is so realistic! I cannot begin to tell you how much it touched us! We laughed, we cried, and we cried, and then the fear that it portrayed became so real, it felt as if happening to us. No doubt this should be in theatres and a movie. It will change lives…my ears have been opened to a side of reality that is almost unbearable and unbelievable; horror and hope living simultaneously. I believe doors in high places will be open to you, and great favor will pour out upon you and those involved… a piece of Christian history that must be seen, as well as heard.

– *Charli Pickett, Shiloh Ministries, Savannah TN

Ten Boom is vunderful!! Beautifully well done!! And so perfect for encouraging people today in the midst of fear, anxiety, struggle and political chaos. Thank you again for sending it. People need to see and be touched by Ten Boom!

I thought Ten Boom the Musical was so inspirational. I remember the story of the Ten Boom family from The Hiding Place, but there were so many of the little “God” things I had forgotten about. What moved me most was the love and forgiveness; how Corrie and Betsy loved and encouraged other women they were imprisoned with; how they forgave their persecutors. With all they went through, they never stopped believing and trusting in their Heavenly Father. Thank you for taking the time to put this amazing story to music. Anyone who hears it will be moved!

I spent the past couple of days reading and rereading this amazing script. You have both created an anointed masterpiece. Thank you so much for sharing this script with me to peruse. The Lord is so good to give us creative gifts and I know the enormous sense of awe you must have felt to write [this] beautiful story. The presence of the Holy Spirit is in every page turn”
